||| Vakratunda Mahakaya Surya Koti Samaprabha
Nir Vighnam Gurume deva sarvakarye shu sarbada |||
In Tamil:
||| வக்ரத்துண்ட மஹக்காய சூரியா கோடி ஸமப் ப்ரபா
நிர்விக்நம் குறுமே தேவ சர்வக்ரியே ஷூ சர்பதா |||
Meaning:
"Oh, Lord Ganesh, with curved trunk and massive body, the one whose splendor is equal to millions of suns, please bless me so that I do not face any obstacles in my endeavors."
